Definition of signal
A signal is defined as a function of one or more independent variables which contain some information here the independent variables can be pressure, temperature, and the most popular independent variable in signal is time and it is denoted by the letter 't' mathematically the signals are represented as x(t)
Example :-
- voltages and currents in electrical and electronic circuits these are called electric signals.
- human speech and sounds produced by animals these are called non electric. signals.
